Corrugated Polycarbonate Sheets For a complete line of our greenhouse glazing materials, click here New, Lexan Soft Lite Corrugated Sheet Our Clear Corrugated Sheets are one of the leading materials of choice for greenhouse roofing, due to its unique combination of characteristics. It is a high quality, lightweight, rigid corrugated polycarbonate sheet, with excellent impact resistance, superior clarity, versatility, and weather resistance. The corrugated sheets contain UV inhibitors, which prevent degradation and yellowing of the material, and crops under the sheet are protected from the harmful rays of the sun. Our corrugated panels come with anti-condensate coating. This is a factory applied condensation control which causes water to spread into a thin sheet rather than form into droplets. This built-in condensation control eliminates condensation drop formation, while retaining its high level of transparency.

Click on picture for larger view Installation Suggestions It is important to allow for thermal expansion and contraction when drilling holes. The hole diameter should be drilled 5/64" larger than the diameter of the fastener. Fasteners should be secured without excessive tension which would deform the corrugated sheet. In roofing applications fastening is best through the crest of the material. Figure 1 and 2. For sidewall applications the fastening would be through the valleys (figure 3). The corrugated sheet is firmly fixed when fastened at every third corrugation and every second corrugation at the ridge and gutter. At the ridge and gutter material should be fastened through the valleys (figure 4). When joining sheets an overlap of one corrugation is recommended. The upper sheet in the overlap should be upwind (figure 1). If overlap is required in the sheet length we recommend a 6" overlap. Recommended pulin spacing is 36" at the ridge and gutter and 48" at the mid spans (figure 5).
Minimum Polycarbonate Order - $750.00 worth of polycarbonate sheets. This does not include H's, U's, screws, crating or shipping. Fill in our polycarbonate quote form for a quote by email Length is to your specification. Pricing for the corrugated sheets is plus shipping plus crating. The crating is calculated by multiplying the length of the longest sheet by $10.00. Minimum crating charge is $80.00. Please contact us for a shipping quote. Please note: Shipping for polycarbonate is done by Common Carrier (trucking companies). We do not offer pick up. Also, we will not cut sheets small enough to ship UPS. If you are looking for less than 8 sheets we would suggest Solexx as an appropriate substitute. It can be shipped UPS. LEXAN SOFT LITE CORRUGATED SHEET This new corrugated sheet from GE has 100% light diffusion, but 85% PAR light transmission. The total diffusion reduces plant stress, while the high transmission will encourage a high yield. This is a perfect material for greenhouses, carports and patios. The 100% scattering of the light encompasses both top and bottom leaves resulting in faster uniform growth, virtual elimination of shadows and delivers more usable energy to the plant. This corrugated sheet is UV protected with a dripguard coating allowing condensation to spread into a thin sheet, rather than form into droplets which can spread disease and discolor your plants. This material also carries a ten year warrantly. $1.20 per square foot plus crating, plus shipping. Minimum $750.00 worth of polycarbonate. Fill in our polycarbonate quote form for a quote by email |
