The two pictures above are showing the light in the lowered positions and in the raised position. This will enable you to have the light at the correct position for the height of your plants. It is adjustable from 16" to 23". The finish is a light green lacquered wood. The herb motif is only on one side, with the other side being plain. A clear PVC liner makes the unit water tight and prevents leaks. It has two plant spectrum compact florescent tubes. The high quality solid-state ballast won't flicker or buzz. It measures 29" long x 8.5" wide. Component parts are UL approved.
