Juliana's are built with an aluminum frame. Aluminum framing is the most popular greenhouse choice because it is maintenance free, lightweight, easy to work with and it withstands high winds and heavy snowfalls. Aluminum framed greenhouses from Juliana are now available in the traditional mill finish or an attractive green powder coat finish. All greenhouses must be attached to a base or foundation. An optional galvanized steel base is available from Juliana. The frame is covered with twinwall polycarbonate panels. This is the best greenhouse glazing material available because of its numerous advantages. The twinwall construction has air channels which create the same insulating effect as a thermo window, without the high cost and maintenance of glass. The insulation promotes a more even temperature in the greenhouse which provides better growing conditions for the plants. All polycarbonate sheets come with a UV protecting coating. Juliana greenhouses are glazed with 4, 6 and 10mm thicknesses, depending upon the model. The warranty for all Juliana greenhouses has been extended. The greenhouse frame is covered for 20 years and the polycarbonate panels are covered for 5 years. All models are built for the D-I-Y and come with a detailed and illustrated instruction manual. Shipping to the continental US is included in the price. There will be an additional shipping charge if the base is ordered separately.
