The
basic is the ideal greenhouse for the first time buyer or someone with limited
space in the garden. The greenhouse is made of 4mm twinwall polycarbonate with an aluminum
frame with gutters. It comes standard with a 2 foot wide sliding door. An
optional galvanized steel base is available.
Sidewall height is 4' on all models not including base. Peak height is 6'6"
not including base. The panels are enclosed in the framework of the greenhouse.
Therefore, no silicone is needed. We
have recommended heaters listed for each size. These are calculated on supplying
a temperature of approximately 25 degrees higher inside than the outside
temperature. If you need more heating capacity we suggest you buy more than the
suggested quantity or a larger heater. The shade cloths are meant to go over the
outside of the greenhouse covering. You supply ropes or fasteners to hold the
shade cloths down. The shade cloth will help cut down on the heat and the
sun intensity in the greenhouse. It is typically used in late spring, summer or
early fall.

Vanlet Watering System

The Vanlet automatic drip
irrigation and fertilizer system regularly supplies the plants in your
greenhouse with an adjustable flow of water and fertilizer. The Vanlet
system is simple and therefore very reliable. Consists of a tank unit in
which water and fertilizer are mixed. The tank has an inner 2.5 gallon white
feed tank which adds the fertilizer to the water flow. Water and fertilizer
are dispersed to the plants via hoses, Y connections and drip pins. The
control plugs of the drip pins make it possible to individually adjust the
amount of water for the plants. It is adjustable from 2 to 30 gallons of
water every 24 hours. The Vanlet is supplied with 30 drip pins, 35 Y
connections, 25 metre transport hose and fittings.
