Protect A Plant Greenhouse Our Protect A Plant Greenhouse is ideal for all of your gardening greenhouse needs such as seedling starts or wintering plants and flowers. Assembly time is 2 -4 hours or less. The three piece construction consists of a cover, vented end panel, and a door panel with two zippered vents which are separate pieces for ease of installation and on/off door/panel removal. The three layer laminated polyethylene cover is UV protected and comes in a 200 gram 12 x 12 crossover weave. The flex-frame design consists of galvanized 1 1/4" OD 16 gauge (.059) steel with inside slip-fit joint fittings 14 gauge (.078"). The greenhouse has 4' on center arches and 5 horizontal purlins. It comes with cross side ventilation and upper zipper screened vents. The greenhouse has a 4" x 4" galvanized base plates at the ends of all 4' on center arches. These plates can be attached directly to the ground or bolted to a wood or concrete foundation. These are calculated on supplying a temperature of approximately 25 degrees higher inside than the outside temperature. If you need more heating capacity we suggest you buy more than the suggested quantity or a larger heater. The shade cloths are meant to go over the outside of the greenhouse covering. You supply ropes or fasteners to hold the shade cloths down. The shade cloth will help cut down on the heat and the sun intensity in the greenhouse. It is typically used in late spring, summer or early fall. We also offer replacement cover sets for this greenhouse.
