Home Attached Greenhouse Kits
A gable end attached greenhouse is comparable to lean to greenhouses, but the roof will be pitched like on a freestanding greenhouse. We are able to do these in a curved eave or a straight eave model. We are also able to do this with our twinwall polycarbonate glazing, or with our single or double glass glazing. The greenhouse frame is aluminum with standard colors of white, brown or green.
Features of Gable End Attached Greenhouse
The gable end attached greenhouses, in many cases, will look just like an extension to your home. In many cases, you will be able to walk directly into the greenhouse from your home. We are also able to put doors at the front of the greenhouse. Typically, you will have more headspace with a gable end attached greenhouse than you will with a lean to. The picture on the left above is an Acadian greenhouse with a brown frame and single tempered glass. The customer added a side vent and placed it on the right side. The picture on the right is an Acadian model with the green frame.
The one issue that you have to overcome with a gable end attached greenhouse is that you will need sufficient attaching height on your home. The peak will be higher than on a lean to greenhouse. We basically take our standard Acadian or Evangeline greenhouse and remove a back wall. We can do a door drop, add trim, add side vents or a ventilation package. Our standard colors are white, brown or green, but we are able to do custom color frame matching as well.
